Our team of talented therapists have worked extensively with all age groups in a variety of settings and are qualified to treat a wide range of mental health issues. If you’re looking to start your therapeutic journey, please reach out so we can discuss your needs and assist you in finding the therapist that will be the best fit for you and your goals.
And if we are not the best fit for you, we’ll happily refer you to another caring member of our local mental health community.
This is a free 30-minute appointment with the therapist of your choice to meet and get a feel for each other. This is a perfect opportunity for you to discuss any specific treatments or therapeutic approaches that you’re looking for, what your goals and needs are for the counseling experience, and to see if you mesh well with the therapist’s approach to counseling. If you walk away feeling like you’re looking for something different, we are happily to facilitate connecting you with other therapists that will be able to help you meet your goals.
Individual counseling is exactly what is sounds like: one-on-one counseling sessions with you and your therapists. This is the most common type of counseling service provided at Align Counseling & Wellness and is great for working on individual goals and personal growth.
Family counseling can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some of the sessions may have multiple family members present and other sessions may be specifically designated to work with one person from the family unit to further process their role within the family and how we can work towards the family’s goals effectively. Family therapy also allows us to work with the families of our individual clients who are minors so that we can work on improving their environmental needs as well.
Couples therapy is a great way to enhance your ability to connect, understand, and support you and your partners needs more effectively. It is important to walk into couples counseling with the intention to work together as a team and to be open to the ways that both parties can grow to foster a healthier relationship. This is not the space to show up to have your therapist tell your partner all of the things they’ve done wrong. Instead, we are here to sit in the tension so that we can find a way through all of the noise and bring compassion, respect, and a pursuit of mutual understanding back to the table for all parties.
Each of our therapists can provide tele-mental health counseling services for clients that are currently in the state of Arkansas. This can be done by secure phone line or by secure video conference, when appropriate.*
If scheduling or traveling is a concern for you, please inquire about our remote counseling services.
*tech-assisted/remote counseling is not perfect for every situation
and is 100% at the therapist’s discretion.
Maybe things didn’t go as planned or expected. You might be wondering “How do I move forward from this?” or “I don’t even know where to begin,” or maybe even “There’s just no way I can make this work.” Change can be scary and difficult. Let us help you reconnect to your values and goals to help find some direction as you navigate this transition— whether that’s transitioning from school to college, into the workforce, out of a relationship, or into another phase of life. Each of our therapists has plenty of experience in helping people transition from one event or stage of life to the next.
Sometimes our familial relationships can be the most challenging ones to navigate. We will work with you to help find common ground and build upon your family’s strengths. We will also work with you to provide new skills and enhance communication strategies and boundary-setting skills.
We are proud to provide an affirming space in which any individual can feel safe being their authentic self. Here we will work to recognize the unique stressors that LGBTQ+ people face regularly, work to increase access to support, develop plans to help keep folks safe from harm, and be a sounding board for the ways we can work towards your goals. We know that being your authentic self can be challenging and risky. Let us be a space where you can exist freely and safely.
It can be difficult to make lasting changes in our relationships. Whether they be family, friends, and/or partners, our relationships make an impact on how we live life day to day, and how we view the world around us. We provide a safe and healing place for you to recognize and experience the full spectrum of your feelings. Through a more authentic way of being, we work with you to find and maintain deeper connections with yourself and others.
Life isn’t always what we expect it to be. Whether you’ve experienced a difficult time in life, the loss of a loved one, or just need a soft place to land to sort out thoughts and emotions, we will sit with you and process any issues you may be experiencing.
Each of our therapists has an extensive history of treating anxiety, depression, communication breakdowns, and other emotional challenges. If you’re curious if our services are a good fit for you, please reach out to book a consultation so we can discuss it with you.
