What can I expect from a session?

You can always expect your therapist to treat you with dignity and respect. While each session is unique, we will work to meet you where you are and address the needs that you bring to the table. We will address the emotional components that are often overlooked in the outside world and collaboratively come up with plans to get you closer to your goals. Remember, these are your sessions! So if you have a specific need, concern, or experience you want to focus on, please communicate that to the therapist and we will show up however we can.

Is it always hard?

Great question! We come into therapy with the hope of changing some difficult or unpleasant part of our experience. To make that change, we are likely going to have to weather some difficult moments together but we will never expect anyone to push themselves to the point of suffering just to make progress. We are here to do beneficial and productive work, not to make life more challenging. So you can expect therapy to be difficult at times but not every session will be difficult. I think you’ll likely also find yourself experiencing a full range of emotions in the sessions.

How much does therapy cost?

Sessions start at $100 and range up to $250. Our session costs vary depending on what type of service you’re looking to schedule, how long the appointment is, and which therapist you’re scheduling with.

Please reach out for more information about the specific type of service you’re looking to schedule and we can give you a better idea of the prices.

How Long are sessions?

We typically schedule new client intakes for 90 minutes. After that, you can discuss what type of appointment you’d like to schedule based on your needs. We offer 30, 45, and 55-minute individual sessions.

What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours notice. If you cannot provide notice 24 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment, it will be marked as a missed appointment. We understand that things happen. That’s why your first missed appointment will be a freebie. After that, you’ll start to accrue fees for each subsequent missed appointment.
We like to offer the reminder that we can often switch to a virtual appointment if your ability to make it to our office has changed but you’d still like to attend your session.

Can you prescribe medications for me?

No, we do not have a medical doctor on staff. We do, however, have a good working relationship with several prescribers around Conway and Central Arkansas that we can connect you to if you feel you may benefit from medications.
Therapy often reduces or negates the need for medication - we work to give you tools to handle what life throws at you.

Do you take insurance?

Kaitlyn, Kevin, and Melissa accept Aetna, Ambetter, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Health Advantage, QualChoice, United Healthcare (UHC) and United Medical Resources (UMR). For all others, we can provide you with an invoice/receipt you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Why doesn’t Lilee take Insurance?

While insurance can make access to therapy more affordable, there are also some downsides to using insurance as well.

Our primary focus is patient care, and serving you well. Billing insurance takes hours and hours of paperwork, filing, waiting for reimbursement, and so much more heartache. This all detracts from our time and ability to focus on our clients.

Your insurance company may dictate the services you can receive, without consulting you or us. We believe your health is your decision, along with your medical professionals, and services should not be limited or dictated by an insurance company.

Insurance companies often require a diagnosis for us to bill treatment. A diagnosis is not always needed or appropriate, and may not be something you want to follow you forward in life.

If you feel Lilee is the right therapist for you but you are concerned about cost, please reach out so we can discuss this with you. Your insurance will often partially cover the cost of therapy, even if we are out of network.
