Kevin Spurgers, LPC

Kevin Spurgers, MS, LPC, TA, NCC

Kevin Spurgers is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). His passion for helping people and a strong sense of empathy led him to counseling as a career path.

Kevin’s clinical approach marries person-centered ideology with cognitive behavioral therapy. Basically, all those big words mean is that Kevin focuses on what’s best for the client in a way that is comfortable for them, while still helping them achieve their goals.

Past clients describe Kevin as warm, caring, thoughtful, engaging, and helpful.

Kevin and his husband live in Conway with their “grumble” of pugs: Lilly, Eevee (pictured below), and Spud. They also have a cat, Oliver, who thinks he’s a dog. In his free time, you’ll find Kevin traveling, spending time with friends, or enjoying video games or anime.

Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in mental health counseling, both from the University of Central Arkansas. Kevin is also a licensed supervisor (LPC-S), helping new therapists start their careers successfully. If you’re interested in supervision with Kevin, please fill out this form.

*Our resident TheraPug, Eevee, is in almost all of Kevin’s sessions. If you’d prefer a pug-free session, don’t hesitate to let Kevin know!
