Hannah Standage, LAC

Hi there! I’m Hannah, and I’m here for the moments when you’ve told yourself, “I am good enough”, but that nagging sense of shame just won’t let go.

Often times I meet people who have tried traditional talk therapy and tried to reframe their thought patterns into something more helpful or to learn various ways that they can deal with their emotional experiences, but continue to struggle with feeling broken despite their growing intellectual understanding of themselves. This is when I can provide something different! I combine Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic interventions, art and creative expression from a person-centered perspective to go beyond problem-solving and reframing. We will explore the parts of you that often feel stuck, broken, or unseen even after you have done all of the “right” things.

I work with older children, adolescents, and adults to address LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergent experiences, and trauma. I also have extensive experience working with life transitions, mood disorders, and anxiety. Together, you can expect us to work through that sense of disconnect and to move towards a place of healing, growth, and true self-acceptance.

If this feels similar to your experience, I’d love a chance to talk more about what you’re wanting to get out of your life and how therapy can assist you.
